New Insights from Our Lab: Mammary Glands in a Dish

Our lab is proud to share our latest research featured in The Conversation. The article highlights our work with mammary organoids—miniature, lab-grown versions of mammary glands—that are unlocking new understanding of evolution, lactation, and breast cancer.

These organoids are powerful tools that provide a physiologically relevant platform for studying complex tissues in ways that were previously not possible. Our research is not only contributing to basic science but also holds promise for advancements in regenerative medicine and cancer treatment.

By growing these organoids in the lab, we are able to explore fundamental biological processes that are critical for understanding how tissues develop, function, and respond to diseases. We continue to work to push the boundaries of science and to find innovative solutions to pressing challenges in health and medicine.
